We are finally underway on one of our most unique commercial jobs to date - a full metal roof replacement on the A-frame building at Lighthouse Chiropractic right here in Wichita. Dr. Devin Vrana had a clear vision for this space, and we are proud to be the crew bringing it to life.
Before any metal panels go on, the insulation has to be right. That is exactly what you are seeing here - batt insulation being laid out across a framework of wood strapping over the existing shingle surface. This approach creates a thermal barrier that will make a real difference in how the building holds temperature year-round. For a chiropractic office, comfort matters. That starts at the roof.
A-frame roofs are not your typical job. The steep pitch and the geometry of the structure require careful planning and sure footing at every step. Our crew is used to working on roofs that most people would not even attempt, and that experience shows in how we set up and execute each phase of the work.
Kansas weather made us wait for the right window of dry days before we could get started. We do not rush that call. Insulation and roofing materials need the right conditions, and getting that timing right is just as important as the install itself. Now that we are rolling, the plan is to see it through clean and efficient from start to finish.
This is a full roof replacement that goes beyond just swapping out old shingles. It is a real upgrade - better insulation, a long-lasting metal finish, and a look that will match the character of the building Dr. Vrana has worked hard to create. Stay tuned. The finished result is going to be worth the wait.
